About Julie

Julie Christensen is the owner of Luminous Passages, LLC, where she works both in the US and internationally providing services to help her clients connect with Spirit, heal, be more authentically themselves, and awaken to their true nature. She works a great deal with her evidential psychic mediumship abilities and assists others in developing their abilities.

Julie also maintains a separate psychotherapy business as a licensed marriage and family therapist where she offers Repair & Reattachment Grief Therapy to those grieving a loved one (person or pet) who has crossed over. In this one session modality, Julie uses the bilateral stimulation from EMDR allowing you to enter a receptive state of mind where not only sadness, grief, and trauma are reduced but re-connection with your loved one in spirit can occur.

Julie has a master’s degree in counseling psychology with a specialization in transpersonal psychology from John F. Kennedy University received in 1999. Transpersonal psychology unites both the spiritual and psychological aspects of human experience, addressing the integration of the whole person – body, mind, emotion, energy, and spirit. Her coursework included studies in consciousness, spiritual practices from both the East and the West and transpersonal counseling based on the work of Ken Wilber.

She is an experienced Intuitive Counselor & Mentor, Karuna® Reiki Master, and Spirit Medium. Julie had some mediumistic experiences as a child and earlier in her adulthood, but it was a Spiritual, or Kundalini, Awakening in 2012 that resulted in the development of her abilities today. She has studied, developed and honed her evidential mediumship skills through various classes with wonderful teachers in the US and overseas and a lot of practice. Much of her deeper work and spiritual development occurred with her spiritual mentor, Shannon Conlin DMin, working one-on-one. She will always be grateful to him for his support, teaching and kindness. She carries that mentorship torch on today working with her clients. Julie continues to grow herself; taking courses and working with her guides as this is a lifelong process.

Julie’s spiritual interests are varied. She has always felt a close connection with the divine through nature, writing and movement. Julie enjoys her family, friends, travel, gardening, and the family’s three cats. Julie is blessed and grateful for the loving support of her husband and daughter on this journey and of her friends.
